A Little About Me - Enlightened Art by Melanie Grace
Welcome to my world. I am Melanie Grace.
I have always been artistic and love art in all forms. I started out as a professional hair stylist which I did for many years, going on to set up my own successful business. I loved the creativity of it, and of course making my clients look and feel great.
I also dabbled in interior design, tried hand casting, pursued and enjoyed furniture painting, painting with acrylics, drawing with graphite and charcoal.
I then felt a calling to develope my passion for art, and connection with people and animals , and embarked on a journey that entailed numerous commissions, of charcoal portraits of animals and people.
I then had a calling from divine spirit to explore and create with colour.
I am now embracing what I am truly passionate about, my love of art, animals, helping people to heal through art, and creating beautiful portraits.
A troubled childhood and early adult life, developed me into a natural empath, and someone capable of reading peoples facial expressions, their mood and energy very clearly.
What had started out as a safety measure, became part of my toolbox to truly see somebody at a soul level, and express it in art..
After many years of helping others I finally realised that I needed to heal myself. So having gone through my own healing journey I have now conquered my fears and can pursue my true passion, be my authentic self, doing what I have always wanted to do.
This is why I am offering inner child portraits as one of my services, to spread awareness of the importance of healing and supporting your inner child.
